"I am proud to endorse and support Rick Gray for the House of Representatives in Legislative District 9. As a businessman he has the business experience and leadership ability, along with the political will to make the hard decisions that need to be made to get our state on fiscal high ground. Working toward that, his priorities are to balance the budget, work to create jobs, strengthen education and secure our border.

Rick has also been committed to his role as a leader in the West Valley for years, serving on the board of directors for the Sun City Homeowners Association, Sun City Tax Payers Association, and Sun City Area Transit. He also serves as SCHOA's Chair for the Governmental Affairs Committee, as well organizing and facilitating a Northwest Valley Tea Party Group. Rick is already working for the people in Legislative District 9 and will give them a strong voice in the Legislature."

Sherriff Joe Arpaio

"As the Mayor of Peoria, I want someone at the legislature who will look out for the city and people of Peoria. We need legislators who realize that the state must work in constructive partnership with the cities for the good of all Arizonans.

I believe Rick Gray will work to balance the state budget without trying to shift the burden of responsibility on to the cities. That, coupled with his experience as a small business owner, is why I am endorsing Rick Gray for the House of Representatives in Legislative District 9."

Mayor Bob Barrett
City of Peoria

"I am enthusiastically endorsing Rick Gray for State Representative in Arizona's District #9.

Arizonans face unprecedented fiscal challenges in the coming years. The success with which we meet those challenges depends upon the caliber of individual we send to represent us in the Statehouse.

Rick Gray is not a politician; he's a businessman-someone who understands the challenges of creating jobs and meeting payrolls. He understands that government governs best when it governs least.

I am confident he will pursue the kind of policies that will make government a facilitator of a vibrant private sector economy so we can get on with the difficult job of rebuilding a strong Arizona for a brighter future."

Mayor Michael LeVault
City of Youngtown

“I endorse Rick Gray for the Arizona House of Representatives for Legislative District 9.  Rick’s business expertise, displayed through his consistent fiscal responsibility, is just what the state of Arizona needs out of its leadership.

Rick Gray is just the person to guide Arizona out of this recession and back to sustainable, reliable economic growth. He has been committed to his role as a leader in the West Valley for years, and will give the citizens who live there a strong voice in the Legislature.”

Max Wilson
Maricopa County Supervisor

"I have known and worked with Rick Gray in several Sun City activities.  Rick has been a member of the Sun City Area Transit Board of Directors.  He has been a dedicated Board Member who studies the issues, talks them out with fellow Board Members, and always pursues well thought out solutions.  The difficulties facing our State need analytical leaders like Rick.

Rick is a successful businessman and is dedicated to our community.  In addition to the Sun City Area Transit Board, he serves on the Boards of the Sun City Home Owners Assn., the Sun City Tax Payers Assn., and he has organized the Northwest Valley Tea Party.

Rick is a solid conservative and desires to return our State to solid financial status and limited government.  He is bright and energetic, ready to serve the residents of District 9.

I am proud to endorse Rick Gray for the Arizona House of Representatives, serving District 9."

Dear Fellow LD9 Precinct Committeeman -

The 2010 election cycle is in full swing, and as Arizona Republicans, we have a lot to look forward to. Currently, we are fortunate enough to be represented by three of the best Republicans down at the state legislature. All three have an intimate understanding of the budget and know what it takes to bring jobs and prosperity back to the state of Arizona and LD9. In 2010, however, LD9 voters have the opportunity to elect a fresh voice to the legislature. I wholeheartedly believe Rick Gray is the best candidate to join Rep. Lesko in the Arizona House of Representatives.

It takes courage, commitment and sacrifice to make the decision to run for office. I believe most people make the decision because they feel compelled to lead the way in making society better for everyone. After speaking with Rick at length over the past few months, I believe he holds these qualities and will best represent our district and lead us out of the deep water our state is in financially.

In 2008, a shallow wave of support carried Barack Obama into the White House. A year later, the tide has turned and the Republican Party has found its voice again, making true conservative principles the guiding light for the future. As a small business owner, Rick Gray has a deep understanding of these principles and will use his experience and knowledge to work towards a balanced budget.

Great people have always represented Legislative District 9, and I know that Rick Gray will continue this tradition. A vote for Rick Gray is a vote for leadership, a vote for jobs, and a vote for Arizona’s future.

Sincerely,

Matt Wharton

"Rick Gray’s presence on the Sun City Home Owners Association’s Board of Directors has been extremely positive and valuable to our organization.  His knowledge of, and dedication to Sun City has been very important to the well-being of our community.  I whole-heartedly support Rick in his effort to represent District 9 in the State Legislature."

"As someone who is invested in politics on a daily basis I can tell you that what we need in Arizona today is to spark a new conservative movement. It is time to end the era of politicians who think that it is their right or their turn to take a political office. Instead what we need are individuals of integrity and ideas. I am endorsing Rick Gray because he is that kind of individual and I believe he will help move our state forward by balancing the budget and creating jobs. I truly believe he is running to serve the people of our district and state, and not his own personal ambitions. I hope you’ll join with me in supporting Rick for House Representative of Legislative District 9."

"I've known Rick Gray for several years and think most highly of him and his wife, Lisa. He and Lisa are both solid Conservatives in the Reagan tradition, and in watching Rick "in action" on various projects, I've definitely become a fan. He and Lisa are always ready to do the "little jobs" as well as the bigger ones; he keeps his promises, and he "gets things done" the way we appreciate having them done - with high standards, efficiency, and always thinking of others and of "the best way to do things" as well as for the good of Sun City and our District."

"I've known Rick for a while now, and have met privately with him on multiple occasions to discuss our needs in Arizona government. I find Rick to be honest, forthright, dedicated, and an excellent citizen legislator candidate. He has no hidden agenda, no desire to have a title, and carries no baggage from the past. He has a background as a small business owner and operator, understands the needs of small businesses, retired citizens, and working people, understands the need for honest, open government, and will be an excellent representative of LD9, and Arizona, in the state legislature. I strongly endorse Rick Gray for the AZ House from LD9."
